HAMPTON, IA -- Leona Bailey, 84, died Sunday (Nov. 3, 1996) at the Hampton Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Tolles officiating. Burial will be in Maynes Grove Cemetery, rural Bradford. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Leona Bailey was born June 30, 1912, in South English. Survivors include her husband, Stanley Bailey of Hampton; three sons, Carl Bailey of Dows, Dale Bailey of Hampton and Lowell Bailey of Bradford; one daughter, Delores Early of Waterloo; two sisters, Eunice Young of Charles City and Laurene Knapp of Washington; one brother, Robert Whittsit of Rockford, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and nine step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter, one sister and three brothers.
