MASON CITY, IA -- Vicki Jo VanEvery, 44, of 710 S. Pierce Ave., Apt. #217, died Sunday (Aug. 11, 1996) at home. The body was cremated. There will be no visitation. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., is in charge of arrangements.
Vicki Jo VanEvery was born June 27, 1952, in Belmond, daughter of Wayne and Rosemary (Hines) Gelner. She was married to Dan VanEvery in 1971. Vicki enjoyed country western music. She had many friends that she visited. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Survivors include one son, Dan VanEvery of Fort Lewis, Wash.; her father, Wayne Gelner of Mason City; one sister, Rhea Behrends and her husband, Leon, of Forest City; one brother, Timothy W. Gelner of Mason City; two nieces, Lisa and Sara Behrends, both of Forest City; and one nephew, Marc Behrends of Forest City. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosemary.

October 18, 1996MASON CITY, IA -- Memorial services will be held for Vicki VanEvery and Rosemary Gelner at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E. Rosemary Gelner, 63, died June 26, 1995, at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home. Vicki Jo VanEvery, 44, died Aug. 11, 1996, at her home.
