HAMPTON, IA -- Vera June Jorgensen, 84, of rural Hampton, died Friday (Oct. 20, 1995) at home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Hampton, with the Rev. Mark Urlarb officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Hampton.

Vera June Jorgensen was born June 4, 1911, in Popejoy. Survivors include her husband, James (Sr.) Jorgensen, rural Hampton; one daughter, Joyce Piechowski, Bettendorf; two sons, James Jorgensen Jr., rural Hampton, and Marlyn Jorgensen, Garrison; two sisters, Ruby Anderson, Dows, and Carol Cave, Des Moines; one brother, Wendell Benson, Iowa Falls; and 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
