LATIMER, IA — Norma E. Braun, 68, of Latimer, died Wednesday (Jan. 28, 1998) at North Iowa Mercy Health Center East, Mason City. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Immanuel United Church of Christ with the Rev. Steven Hamilton and the Rev. Jim Barge officiating. Burial will be in the Marion Center Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home. Norma E. Braun was born Nov. 9, 1929, in Alexander. Survivors include her husband, Merlin Braun, of Latimer; one daughter, Julie Hamilton of Laramie, Wy.; one son, Jim Braun of Latimer; one sister, Iva June Myers of Alexander; one brother, Marlo Westaby, Alexander; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson.
