July 19, 1927 -- March 18, 1998

GOODELL, IA — Minnie Larson, 70, of Klemme, died Wednesday (March 18, 1998) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church, Klemme. Interment will be in the Ell Township Cemetery, Klemme. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p. m. Friday at the Tenold Funeral Home, Klemme, and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of North Iowa.

Minnie (Ubben) Larson, the daughter of Ben and Carrie (Honken) Ubben, was born July 19, 1927, at Kamrar. She attended country school near Williams, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Charles Larson on June 23, 1953, at the Presbyterian Church in Kamrar, Iowa. They moved to the Goodell area in 1955, and began farming. She and Charles have been married 44 years, and are members of the United Methodist Church in Klemme.

Surviving are her husband, Charles, of rural Goodell, Iowa; sons, Ron Larson and his wife, Lori, of Mason City, Iowa; Bernard Larson and his wife, Sheryl, of Round Rock, Texas; grandchildren, Bryan Larson, Nathan Larson, and Travis Larson; brother, Edward Ubben and his wife, Mary, of Webster City, Iowa; sisters, Ricksta Davis and her husband, Wayne, of Webster City, Iowa; and Elsie Maples, of Stanhope, Iowa. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Grace, Katie, Lena, Rickie, Carrie, and Bernice; brothers, Walter, Arend, Bennie, William, Leonard, and Melvin; and three infants.
