ROCKWELL, IA — Linda Kay Wessels, 38, died Saturday (April 4, 1998) at the Woodward State Hospital, Woodward. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fullerton Funeral Home, 120 S. 3rd St., Rockwell. Officiating will be the Rev. Ronald Bolinger of St. Peter Lutheran Church. Interment will be in the Rockwell Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon until service time at the funeral home.

Linda was born June 5, 1959, at Belmond, the daughter of Larry Wessels and Phyllis Nissen Wessels. She lived in Klemme with her father and grandmother until age 9 when she moved to Woodward, where she had lived since. Linda is survived by her father, Larry, and his wife, Carol Wessels, of Rockwell; her mother, Phyllis, and her husband, Leo Branchaud, Minneapolis, Minn.; her paternal grandmother, Hermanda Wessels, Klemme; her maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Nissen, Iowa City; one sister, Mary Jo, and her husband, Lynn Brady, Creston; three brothers, Brian Wessels, St. Louis, Mo., Bruce and his wife, Brenda Wessels, Eau Claire, Wis., and Brad Wessels, Owatonna, Minn.; one niece, Holly; and one nephew, Joshua Brady. She was proceeded in death by her grandfathers, Fred Wessels and Cy Nissen.
