CLARION, IA — Odelia R. Murphy, 91, of Clarion, died Wednesday (Sept. 23, 1998) at the Clarion Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Catholic Church, Clarion, with the Rev. Wayne Droessler officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the Willim Funeral Home, Clarion, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be a 7 p.m. vigil service.

Odelia was born Oct. 14, 1905, in Williams. Survivors include her children, Denny Murphy, of Clarion; Shirley Berens, of Urbandale; Margery Dahlgren, of Clarion; and Dr. Jim Murphy, of Hays, Kan.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchild; and brothers, Oscar Hames, of Webster City; and Urban Hames, of Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son and five brothers.
