Marjorie C. Hogan, 90, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday July 20, 2010 at The Waters of Clinton. She had worked at the Veterans Administration in Washington DC prior to her marriage on September 2, 1946 to Thomas Jordan Hogan, who passed away on May 10, 1975. She was born October 17, 1919 in Eagle Grove, IA to Cecil R. Kepler and Mary Catherine (Meier) Kepler. Marjorie is survived by 10 children: Mary Jane Kirkman and her husband Mel of Terre Haute, Maureen Oviatt and her husband Russ of Cedar Rapids, IA, Marcia Payne and her husband Jeff of West Terre Haute, Madonna Davis and her husband Rick of Terre Haute, Michele Olson and her husband Ed of Apple Valley, MN, Monica Cuvelier and her husband Steve of Terre Haute, Marguerite “Peggy” Watson of Terre Haute, Melissa Tincher and her husband Les of Terre Haute, Thomas Hogan and his wife Teresa of Cory, and Timothy Hogan and his wife Rhonda of Winston-Salem, NC; 3 sisters: Lorraine Eikenberry of Charlotte, NC, Bernadine Voss of Tucson, AZ, and Sara Noss of Daugherty, IA, 2 brothers: Cecil Kepler of Cedar Rapids, IA and Jim Kepler of Eagle Grove, IA; 25 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Marjorie was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, enjoyed painting, being with her family and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday July 24, 2010 at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Reverend Father Bernie LaMontagne officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is Friday July 23, 2010 in Callahan-DeBaun Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave., from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. The family suggests that for those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to either the Sisters of Providence of Catholic Charities.
