LAKE MILLS, IA -- Esther S. Bidne, 89, of Lake Mills, died Monday (April 8, 1996) at the Lake Mills Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Emmons Lutheran Church, Emmons, Minn., with the Rev. Dennis Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Lime Creek Cemetery (stateline) rural Emmons, Minn. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Mittelstadt Funeral Home, Lake Mills, and one hour prior to services at the church.

Esther S. Bidne was born Dec. 9, 1907, in Thor. Survivors include one son, Maynard Bidne of Emmons, Minn; one daughter, Pauline Osheim of Alma, Wis., eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, seven brothers, six sisters and one great-granddaughter.
