Aaron Lynn Hanson

GOLDFIELD - Aaron Hanson, the son of Arlen G. and Mary (Axdahl) Hanson, was born April 17, 1973, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was raised near Goldfield in Humboldt County and graduated from Humboldt High School in 1991. On November 9, 1997, Aaron married Kammy K. Nagell at the Nazarene Church in Clarion. The couple made their home in Clarion. Aaron was an auto mechanic and also worked as an electrician with his father, operating Hanson Electric. When he wasn't working, Aaron enjoyed helping coach both his daughter's softball and soccer teams. He loved spending time outdoors, including camping trips and he especially liked to go fishing!!

Aaron died Saturday, July 17, 2010, at his home at the age of 37 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Kammy Hanson their two daughters, Josephine and Kaylynn Hanson; sister, Laura Hanson and Jerry Davis of Algona; aunt, Charlotte Olson of Humboldt and many other relatives and friend. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 21, 2010 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Foust Funeral Home at 602 N. Washington in Goldfield, with a Prayer service to follow at 8 pm. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
