DES MOINES, IA -- Charles Fayette Bergman, 76, of 510 15th St., Apt. #19, Des Moines, died Tuesday (Aug. 8, 1995) at Broadlawns Hospital. His body was donated to the College of Osteopathic Medicine. There will be no memorial services.
Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Des Moines, was in charge of arrangements. Charles Bergman was born Aug. 23, 1918, at Alexander, the son of Ben Bergman and Anna Bergman (nee) Pierson. He attended school at Hutchins. Charles lived in Des Moines most of his life and had previously worked as a tool and die setter. He is survived by two sisters, Grace Nelson and her husband, Clifford, of Britt, and Beulah Riege and her husband, Ralph, of North Hollywood, Calif.; two brothers, John Bergman and his wife, Ella, of Britt, and Bennie Bergman of Des Moines; a sister-in-law, Helen Bergman of Britt; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anna and Ben; two sisters, Delia (in infancy), and Pearl Robinson; one brother, Henry Bergman; a brother-in-law, Merrels Robinson; and a sister-in-law, Bess Bergman.
