BELMOND, IA -- Irene Suntken, 71, of Belmond, died Saturday (Oct. 7, 1995) at the Hospice Unit of Good Shepherd Home, Mason City. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, at Bethany Reformed Church, Belmond, with the Rev. Melvin Voss officiating. Burial will be in the Belmond Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Tenold Funeral Home, Belmond, and one hour prior to service time Wednesday at the church. Irene Suntken was born Oct. 12, 1923, at Thornton. Survivors include many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three brothers.
