PARKERSBURG, IA -- Ruth E. Carson, 88, of 602 Conn St., Parkersburg, Iowa, died of natural causes Monday (Dec. 25, 1995) at Sartori Memorial Hospital, Cedar Falls. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, with the Rev. James R. Beranek officiating. Burial will follow at Ell Township Cemetery, Klemme. Visitation was held from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday and will be held an hour before services today at the funeral home. A memorial fund is being established. Ruth E. Carson was born Oct. 18, 1907, in Klemme. Survivors include her husband, Don Carson of Parkersburg; three sisters, Doris Back of Klemme, Ethel Steffen of Waterloo, and Bertha Johnson of Garner. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one brother in infancy.
