Agnes L. Lindsey, of Kanawha, Iowa, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 5, 2010. She was born in Corry March 6, 1940, a daughter of the late Edward C. and Beatrice M. (Nelson) Lindsey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Lula J. Tripp, Norma Wilcox, and Edith, in infancy; three brothers, Richard J. Lindsey, Donald H. Lindsey and Bruce A Lindsey; and her paternal and maternal grandparents. She is survived by her five children, Deborah Brase (Ken) of Grand Rapids, Mich., Michael Wester (Jodie) of River Oaks, Texas, David Wester of Coulter, Iowa, Denise Buren (Jon) of Kanawha, Iowa, and Mark Wester of Kanawha, Iowa. Additionally, she is survived by 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and six stepgrandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Helen R. Smith (Merl) of Corry and Anna L. Wyant of Spring Lake, N.C.; two brothers, Harold A. Lindsey (Barb) of Lorain, Ohio, and Edward C. Lindsey (Agnes) of Batesville, Ark.; three half brothers, Harry Lindsey (Diane) of Corry, Phillip Lindsey (Marge) of Busti, N.Y., and Joe Lindsey (Elaine) of Columbus, Pa.; one half sister, Sarah Griffis (John) of Corry; one stepbrother, Richard Williams of Corry; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves cherished friends Mildred “Snookie” Bailey and Marcella Rooney.

KANAWHA, IA - Agnes F. Lindsey, 70, died Monday (July 5, 2010) at the Wright Medical Center in Clarion, Iowa. Agnes' family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at the Kanawha Fire Station, 104 S. Main St. in Kanawha. A memorial service will take place at a later date in Agnes' hometown of Corry, Pa. Ewing Funeral Home, 118 E. Second St., Kanawha.
