EAGLE GROVE, IA - Viola E. Baker, the daughter Ole and Emma (Mickling) Nelson, was born May 23, 1910, south of Vincent, Iowa. On October 22, 1960, Viola married William K. Baker in Blue Earth, MN. Viola passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at her home in Eagle Grove, at the age of 100 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; 5 children and her siblings. Survivors include her husband, Bill Baker of Eagle Grove; 6 children and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 16, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at Evangelical Lutheran Church in Eagle Grove. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
