KLEMME, Iowa — Douglas Edward Sobek, 46, of Klemme, died Tuesday (Aug. 4, 1998) at the Veterans Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Tenold Funeral Chapel, Klemme, with the Rev. Georgia White-Kisslring, officiating. Interment will be in the Ell Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Tenold Funeral Home, Klemme, and one hour prior to services on Friday.

Douglas Edward Sobek was born Oct. 19, 1951, at Klemme. Survivors include one daughter, Teresa Whitney, of Emmetsburg; granddaughter, Amanda Jean; sisters, Beverly Clark, of Gladbrook, and Sheryll Klesel, of Garner; brothers, Roland Sobek, of Klemme; Glen Sobek, of Klemme; and Rodney Sobek, of Knoxville. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother.
