Carl F. Kempkes, 94, of Lakewood died June 6. Services were June 10 in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Entombment was in Fairmount Cemetery. Mr. Kempkes was born in Klemme, Iowa. He was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Kempkes is survived by his wife, Margarite.
