HANNA CITY, IL - Manley J. "Bounce" Jones, 72, of 9511 W. Goetz Road died at 8:13 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, 2001, at his residence. Born June 30, 1929, in Klemme, Iowa , to James and Katherine Schwartz Jones, he married Susanna Cassidy on July 22, 1967, in Peoria. She survives. Also surviving are one son, Dave of Elmwood; two daughters, Diana (and Terry) Cage of Peoria and Becky (and Larry) Harris of Dewey, Okla.; one stepson, Ronald Schwartz of Pekin; nine grandchildren; three step grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; and one sister, Bernadine Meinders of Chillicothe. He was preceded in death by one infant son, James, in 1965; two infant grandchildren; one brother; and one sister. A member of United Auto Workers Local 974, he worked at Caterpillar Inc. for 31 years, retiring in 1979. He was of the Catholic faith. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria, where visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Cremation will be accorded. Memorials may be made to any charity.
