LUDEKE, BRUNZ, MELTON

Larry "Doc" Ludeke, 62, St. Joseph, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at a Cameron, Mo., hospital. Larry was born January 7, 1948, to Paul and Marie (Melton) Ludeke in Klemme, Iowa . He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam War. Larry was a member of Freedom of Road Riders. He enjoyed motorcycling and his family. Larry was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include sons, Bob (Regina) Ludeke, St. Joseph, Larry Ludeke, Kansas City, Mo., John (Amanda Brunz) Ludeke Kearney, Mo.; brother, Lynn Ludeke; and seven grandchildren.

Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Visitation will begin after 10 a.m. Tuesday at our chapel where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Interment: Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kan. The family suggests memorial contributions to Children's Organ Transplant Association, 2501 West COTA Drive, Bloomington, IN 47403, in honor of Emilee Hendricks.
