GARNER, IA - Funeral services for Miss Minnie D. Blumer, 74, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at United Methodist Church. The Rev. Wallace A. Stark will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City with Bohn Funeral Home in charge. Miss Blumer died at her home in Garner, Saturday. Born in Garner, Dec. 7, 1894, she was the daughter of Jacob and Minnie Joers Blumer. She was a doctor's assistant in Jewell 27 years until returning to live in Garner in 1947. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Lilly Baack, Klemme; Mrs. Esther Lemke, Clear Lake; three brothers, Emil and Jacob Blumer, Garner; Walter Blumer, Klemme. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Anna Waddingham.
