Mrs. E. Taylor's Mother Dead

Mrs. Charles Packard, mother of Mrs. E. Taylor, of this place, passed away at her home at Renwick, Iowa, Sunday morning at 9:30. She was 84 years of age. She suffered a stroke of paralysis four years ago which has held her bedfast practically all - the time since. Mrs. E. Taylor and Mrs. Harry Taylor of Wilmot, left for Renwick Sunday and Mrs. Lulu Duckett on Monday. Mrs. Packard was one of the early settlers of that community, having homesteader there. Her husband passed away in 1901. She was the mother of ten children one -dying in infancy. She also leaves thirty three grandchildren and thirty great grand children. The funeral services were held on Tuesday. Mrs. Duckett and Mrs. Harry Taylor returned on Wednesday while Mrs. E. Taylor will remain for a couple of weeks.
