MASON CITY, IA — Cally Jo Eckhardt, 42, of 222 S. Pierce Avenue, Mason City, died Saturday (Nov. 12, 2005) at Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E. in Mason City, with the Rev. Thomas Healey, St. James Lutheran Church, officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Zion-St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Sheffield. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel.

Cally Jo Eckhardt was born on June 10, 1963, in Mason City, daughter of Ronald and LaDonna (Kirchner) Eckhardt. She grew up in Mason City and graduated from Mason City High School in 1982. The following year, she gave birth to her pride and joy, Debra R. Eckhardt. In following years she joined the TOPS club with her mother, and enjoyed collecting Cola-Cola items.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra Eckhardt, of Mason City; father, Ronald Eckhardt, of Mason City; two brothers, Marty (Jodi) Eckhardt, of Mason City; Larry Eckhardt, of Hiawatha, Iowa; three nephews, David, Nate and Nick Eckhardt; one very special niece and god-daughter, Jessica Eckhardt; and special friend. Shawn Luna and her family. She was preceded in death by her mother, LaDonna Eckhardt; grandfathers, Charles Kirchner, Klass Pruisman and Lawrence Eckhardt; grandmother, Vera Eckhardt; two aunts, Rhonda Kirchner and Betty Hacker; and great-aunt, Martha Eckhardt. Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel.
