Clarion Woman Dies; Funeral to Be Friday
Clarion, Iowa—Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. Friday at the United Presbyterian church for Mrs. Alfred Pehl, 54, who died Tuesday at a hospital in Mason City following a heart attack suffered 10 days ago. The Rev. W. A. Muir of Pitzer and the Rev. Leslie Williams of Goldfield will officiate. The Eyler funeral home is in charge. Burial will be in the Clarion Evergreen cemetery. Mrs. Pehl was born May 2, 1892, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Pletcher. Besides her husband she is survived by 1 son, Alfred Pehl, Jr., of Clarion; 2 daughters, Mrs. James Jergensen of Clarion, and Mrs. Julius Jacobsen of Goldfield; 4 sisters, Mrs. Asa Reichter of Eagle Grove, Mrs. Walter Cleveland of Gilmore City, Mrs. Roy Smith of Page, N. Dak., and Mrs. Edith Sebert of Clarion; and 3 brothers, Ralph Pletcher of Clarion, Winton Pletcher of Britt, and Frank Pletcher of Valley, S. Dak
