Funeral services for Mrs. Dora C. White were held Thursday afternoon, October 15 at the United Presbyterian Church in Clarion with the Rev. J. Curtiss Russell officiating. Burial was at Glenwood cemetery in Goldfield with Eyler Funeral home in charge of arrangements.

Dora C. Youngs, daughter of Henry and Adelia Youngs was born in Lake Township, Wright County Iowa, February 21, 1886, and departed this life October 13, 1964. She was united in marriage to Oliver E. Pletcher on October 1, 1901 and to them were born six children of which four are living. Two daughters and her husband preceded her in death. She is the last of her Immediate family. In 1944 she was married to Thomas White of Clarion, who died in 1946. Except for several years in California, she spent most of her life in Wright County and has been a member of the Presbyterian Church since young womanhood. After moving to Clarion she was employed at the Coffee Shop for about eight years. She is survived by three daughters and one son, (Frances) Mrs. Carl Kelling of Renwick, (Fern) Mrs. Farrell Robinson of Eagle Grove, (Lydia), Mrs. Wesley Rasmussen of Goldfield and William Pletcher of Kasson, Minnesota; 12 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Due to her failing health she had resided at the Heritage Home in Clarion for the past year.
