Maria Angelita Tamez, 47, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away May 12, 2010, at her home in Hampton. She was born on October 2, 1962, in San Juan, Texas, to Telesforo and Ester (Camarillo) Rendon. Maria graduated from PSJA Alamo High School in Alamo Texas. She was united in marriage to Pedro Ruiz on July 27, 1986, in Edingburgh, Texas. Maria worked for Access in Hampton. She enjoyed playing bingo and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Maria is survived by her husband: Pedro Ruiz of Hampton; son: J. R. Tamez of Iowa Falls; son: Peter Ruiz of Woolstock; son: Nathaniel Ruiz, of Hampton; son: Jacob Ruiz of Hampton; son: Justin Ruiz of Hampton; son: Israel Ruiz of Hampton; daughter: Briseyda Ruiz of Hampton; grandson: Colin Ruiz of Woolstock and twelve brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents.
