Victoria Ann "Vicki" Reyna, the daughter of Hans Sorensen and Mildred (Halgrim) Sorensen, was born January 4, 1944 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She was raised on the family farm and graduated from Goldfield High School in 1963. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church. Vicki was united in marriage to Don DeWitt. The couple later divorced. On November 27, 1969, Vicki married Richard Reyna at the United Presbyterian Church in Goldfield, Iowa and for many years they have made their home in Higginsville, Missouri.

Vicki was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook and made sure her family was well fed. Her siblings, nieces and nephews always looked forward to her kringla, great meals and other goodies. Vicki was active in her community and was happy to volunteer whenever she was needed. She was known for her kind heart and generosity. Vicki will be remembered for her life long love of horses.

Vicki passed away at her home Thursday, May 27, 2010 at the age of 66 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sons, Hans Michael and Patrick Michael; brother, Kent Sorensen; brother, Don "Dunnie" Sorensen and sister, Karen Evans. Vicki is survived by her loving and caring husband, Richard; son, Brandon DeWitt of Clermont, Florida; daughter, Tara Reyna of Higginsville, Missouri; daughter, Anna Dillon and husband Adam of Waverly, Missouri; four cherished grandchildren: Kalyn, Brittany, Jacob and Amber; brother Earl "Bud" Sorensen and wife Joy of Goldfield; sister, Carmen "Dee" Halverson and husband Carl of Eagle Grove; sister Hollace "Holly" Upchurch and husband Brent of Ankeny; sisters-in-law, Arlis Sorensen and Jill "Sadie" Sorensen of Goldfield; two great-aunts, Thelma Ventling and Dolores Buhner and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
