DOWS, IA — Lois R. Armstrong, 93, of The Colony, Texas, and longtime resident of Dows, died Tuesday (Jan. 27, 2009) at her residence in Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, at the United Methodist Church in Dows with the Rev. Judith Reedy officiating. Burial will take place in the Fairview Cemetery in Dows. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2, at Dugger Funeral Home, 100 N. Lee St. in Dows, and continue on hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
