Barbara J. Bonsack, 67, of Purdy, Missouri passed away Sunday, Aug. 27, 2006, in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield. She was born Oct. 17, 1938, in Clarion, Iowa, the daughter of Harold and Goldie Murphy. On Aug. 11, 1956, in Milwaukee, Wis., she was united in marriage to Lloyd Bonsack, who survives. Additional survivors include: two sons, Harold Bonsack, of Purdy, and Leonard Bonsack, of Joplin; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Michael Murphy, and a sister, Beverly Murphy. She received her education in Milwaukee, Wisc., where she graduated from High School. In 1986 she moved from Milwaukee to Purdy, to make her home. Barbara attended the First Baptist Church of Purdy. Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Tony Martin conducted the services. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cassville.
