Services Held for Mrs. A. R. Weber

Maude L. Weber, nee Martin — age 89 years, 25 days passed away at 8:00 A. M. Monday, August 21st at Jennie Edmundsen Hospital in Council Bluffs where she had been taken Saturday evening. Mrs. Weber was a native of Georgia, Vermont, born July 27, 1878. She came with her parents and two younger sisters to Iowa in early childhood. She was united in marriage Sept. 14, 1900 with Albert R. Weber of Oelwein, Iowa. To this union were born three children, Ernst Martin Weber, Oregon, Myrtle Mae Abele, Council Bluffs and Karl Ross Weber, Clarion. Mr. and Mrs. Weber came to Clarion in 1903 where he was employed on the
Great western Railroad. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Martin, her husband, Albert Weber, one sister, Mrs. Bernice Smith and one grandchild, Arthur Abele. She leaves to mourn her passing one sister, Mrs. Belle Ocker, Sunnyvale, California, two sons, Ernst and Karl and one daughter Myrtle, three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and numerous friends and acquaintances in Clarion. Mrs. Weber was a member of the Clarion Methodist church, the G. I. A. to the B. of L .K., Royal Neighbors and the D.A.R. Services will be Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the First Methodist Church. Clarion, Iowa with Rev. C. Jensen officiating. Interment will be at the Clarion Evergreen cemetery.
