March 22, 1895 -- October 15, 1979

Mrs. Tunis Vander Weide, 84, of Sioux Center, died Monday, Oct. 15, in the Sioux Center Community Hospital. Services were at 1:30 P.M., Wednesday in the Memorial Funeral Home at Sioux Center. The Rev. Joel Beek officiated. Burial was in the Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Vander Weide, the former Libbie Vander Brink, was born March 22, 1895, in Michigan where she attended school. She was married March 28, 1921, to Tunis Vander Weide at Clarion. They lived in the Sioux Center area. Mr. Vander Weide died in 1960. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. James (Greta) Van Voorst of Sioux Center, 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
