Mrs. Ernest Schroder Services Held Monday

Funeral services for Mrs. Ernest Schroder, 63, lifelong resident of Wright County, were held Monday at two o'clock at the First Methodist Church In Dows. Burial was at the Fairview cemetery. Rev. Ray Bailey officiated. Mrs. Ray
Denger, organist, accompanied the soloist, Mrs. Dennis Kelley. Pallbearers were: Gary Nail, Webster City; Myron State, Clarion; Ernie Schroder, Belmond; Don Borel, Clarion; Leo Schroder, Webster City; and Lynn Schroder, Dows. The Van Hove Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mabel Irene Schroder, 63, Dows, died Friday night at the Clarion Community Memorial hospital following an heart attack. She was born June 21, 1904 at Storm Lake and was the daughter of Ed and Susan Barnes. She was married to Ernest J. Schroder August 8, 1923. She is survived by her husband, a daughter, (Yvonne) Mrs. Harley Hill, Dows, three grandchildren, one great granddaughter, two sisters, (Eleanor) Mrs. Leo Woodley and (Bessie) Mrs. Guy State of Clarion and a brother, Eldon, Long Lake, Missouri.
