Lynn Rochelle Blankenship, 52, of Clarion, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Careage of Clarion. A celebration of life for Lynn Blankenship was held on Tuesday, April 6 at Careage of Clarion with Pastor Warren Curry officiating and music provided by Doris Andrews. Ewing Funeral Home in Clarion assisted the family with arrangements.

Lynn was born on June 7, 1957 in Newton to Verle and Marliss Blankenship. Lynn came to live at Careage of Clarion December of 1978. Her second home provided her with excellent care and the many friends she made blessed her with love beyond measure. Lynn worshipped God at the Clarion Church of Christ and had a wonderful church family. They have cared for, loved her, and transported her to church services each Sunday. The city of Clarion embraced Lynn as a very special citizen, and she was known and loved by many. Her smile lighted many people's lives.

Lynn's family would like to acknowledge with special remembrance her Aunt Betty and Uncle Keith Bell and Aunt Karen and Uncle Harvey Hilpipre. Lynn is survived by her parents, Verle and Marliss Blankenship; one sister Lisa Tompkins and her husband Dr. William Tompkins; and four beloved nephews. Lynn was preceded in death by one sister, Maura Blankenship.
