April 13, 2010Betty Mae McConnell, 90, of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away at The Monarch on Friday, April 9, 2010. Born February 21, 1920 in Goldfield, Iowa to Floyd and Mae (Farmer) Lockwood. Married Gerald Lee McConnell on January 18, 1942 in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
Survived by: Daughter, Jeanne (Gary) Frink; Son, Jim (Jill) McConnell; Daughter-in-law, Patti (Denny) Brady; Grandson, Chris (Kristin) McConnell with great granddaughters Kennedy and Charley; Granddaughters, Leslie (Jeremy) Oestreich, Erin McConnell, Jamie (Trent) Claus; as well as nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by husband Gerald, son Jack, & brother, Homer Lockwood.
Memorial Service 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street. Family will greet friends Monday evening 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials in care of the family to be given to The Monarch Benevolent Fund. Interment Lincoln Memorial Park.
