Lincoln, NE-- Jordan Newman Osborn, 94, of Lincoln, NE, passed away March 15, 2010. Jud was born October 20, 1915 in Hartselle, AL to Jordan F, and Alice Osborn. Mr. Osborn was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, who died in 2009. Jud helped his father farm in Alabama before working in CCC camps. He joined the Merchant Marines during WWII. He and his wife farmed many years in Iowa and later in Minnesota and Texas.

Survivors include his son, Dan Osborn, North Kansas City, MO, three daughters; Bonnie (Marshall) Lewis, Kansas City, MO, Judy (Peter) Gnam, Owatonna, MN and Barbara (Kim) Rempe, Lincoln, NE; four grandchildren, Ben Gnam, Paul Gnam, Joe Rempe, and Molly Lewis and one sister, Sarah Foote, Gadsen, AL.

There will be an open house memorial gathering at the First Presbyterian Church in Grimes, IA on Saturday, March 27, from 6 to 9 p.m. Memorials to Kendallwood Hospice, 2908 NW Vivian Rd, Riverside, MO 64150.
