WAVERLY, IA - Marlene Ann Hansen, 74, of Waverly, died Wednesday, March 24, at her home. She was born Sept. 29, 1935, daughter of Harry and Bertha Thompson Hill in Eagle Grove. She married James Hansen on May 14, 1955. Mrs. Hansen graduated from Waverly High School in 1954. She was employed at Perron Air Force Base in Sherman, Texas, Selective Service in Waverly, and the DOT-FAA at the Waterloo Airport, retiring in 1990.

Survived by: her husband; two daughters, Rebecca (Conrad Moya) Hansen of Waverly and Kathleen (Robert) Kline of Pueblo West, Colo.; two sons, Stephen (Connie) Hansen of Fountain, Minn., and Christopher Hansen of Shell Rock; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Lois (Jim) Fields of Kansas City, Kan.; and two brothers, John Elwood of Washington state and Harold (Mary) Middleton of Clarion. Preceded in death by: three sisters, Cleo, Sharon and Thelma; and three brothers, Donald, Harlan and Harvey.

Memorial Services: 2 p.m. Monday at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Waverly. Public visitation for an hour before services. Memorials: may be directed to the family.
