CLARION - Paul E. Maxheimer, 82, of Clarion, Iowa died February 27, 2010 at the Wright Medical Center in Clarion, Iowa. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Christ, 414 North Main Street in Clarion, Iowa with Pastor Warren Curry officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion. Graveside military services will be conducted by the Clarion American Legion and VFW. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the church and continue one hour prior to services on Thursday. Masonic rites will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the church. Ewing Funeral Home of Clarion is assisting the family with arrangements.

Paul is survived by his wife, Naomi; their children: Paula (Mike) Golob of Norwalk, Connecticut, Ron (Kim) Maxheimer of Belmond, Iowa and Debbie Owen of Des Moines, Iowa; Linda (Greg) DeNio and Rob (Yonda) Cordiner; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Lee J. Maxheimer of Clarion; sister, Alice June Sams of Whitten, Iowa; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Randall E. Matson and Robert D. Maxheimer and one sister, Irma Jean Maxheimer.
