Carole Irene (Anders) Joseph, the daughter of Estel Ralph Anders and Ruth (Bensen) Christensen, was born on September 10, 1929, in Ivesdale, Illinois. She moved to Eagle Grove with her family at the age of 4 and was educated in the Eagle Grove area. Carole then attended ICCC in Eagle Grove, graduating in 1979. Carole dedicated her life to helping others. She was always crocheting baby hats for various organizations and has been involved with making puppets and donating them to missionaries around the world. Carole has been a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Eagle Grove for many years and has touched the lives of al who knew her.

Carole passed away on Friday, February 26, 2010, at Wright Medical Center in Clarion, at the age of 80 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Colleen Smith. Survivors include her children: Gloria Weyer of Scottsdale, AZ, Kathi Clark (Bob) of Maple Grove, MN, Jim Joseph of Des Moines, Jerry Joseph of Tucson, AZ and Pat Guderian (George) of Tucson, AZ; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Cochran (Doris) of Menagha, MN and sister, Dot Quintus (Bill) of Eagle Grove.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at 10:00 A.M. at First Assembly of God Church in Eagle Grove with Pastor Todd Benjamin officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Humboldt. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
