CLARION - Marilyn Joan (Tammen) Morgan, of Clarion, Iowa rested from her earthly journey on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 after a brave and inspirational fight against cancer. In celebration of Marilyn's life, a prayer/memorial service will be held at Ewing Funeral Home, 602 North Main Street in Clarion, Iowa with Pastor Bill Kem at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 21. Marilyn will be taken to her home church for funeral and burial services at St. John's Lutheran Church when snow conditions allow for burial.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Lyle; daughters Kollene Steiner, of New Providence, and Loralie (Jack) Ashton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; eight cherished grandchildren; five precious great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Pat Tammen of Farmer City, Illinois; sister Janice (Bill) Renken of Burnsville, Iowa; sister Ardis Rozell of Clarion, Iowa; brother Rodney (Rhonda) Tammen of LeMars, Iowa; beloved nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces and many wonderful cousins and friends. Marilyn was greeted into her Heavenly home by many loved ones including; parents John and Nora Tammen, brother Virgil Tammen, son-in-law Lyle Steiner; baby grandson Ryan Steiner and nephews Kevin and Keith Renken.
