DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS

Funeral Services for Mrs. Benetto, Held today at Family Home

Mrs. John Benetto, 82, died at her home 1145 Bank Street, late Saturday afternoon after a several weeks illness. Funeral services were held this afteroon at her home at 2 o'clock the service being read by the Rev. Manson E. Miller. Burial was made in Graceland Cemetery. Foster's in charge.

Miss Sarah Nichols was born in Grant Co., Wisconsin Sept 7, 1852. She grew to womanhood in the community of her birth and gathered about her a wide circle of acquaintances and warm friends. She was married Sept 26, 1869 to Mr. John Bennetto. Following her marriage she lived in Georgetown, Wisconsin until the year 1876. In the year 1879, the family moved to Williams Iowa and then to Colorado for a few years, returning to Williams in 1886. In 1903 they moved to North Dakota, and in 1921 they returned to Iowa, settling in Webster City, which place has since been their home. In the younger period of the life of Mrs. Benetto, she confessed her faith in Christ in Wisconsin. She was a woman of courage and energy, and a great home lover. She ordered her home in neatness and with sobriety, and reared her children to be useful and honest.

In passing she leaves her husband and two children one son and one daughter, The son, Guy, lives at Goodrich, N.D. and the daughter, Mrs. Sadie McLaughlin at Des Moines. She also leaves one sister, Miss Emma Nichols of Webster City; and
one brother, James H. Nichols, living in Wisconsin.
