William Leroy Adams Sr. the son of Leona Kutz was born on July 12, 1945 in Webster City, Iowa and died on Friday, June 12, 2009 at the Careage of Clarion Care Center in Clarion, Iowa at the age of 63. He received his education in Webster City schools. On November 22, 1965 he was united in marriage to Mary Rife at Des Moines, Iowa. After their marriage, the couple lived in Webster City. In 1974, they moved to Algona, Iowa and in 1992 they moved in Fenton. William did drywall work most of his life. Mary died on October 9, 2000. William was an active member of Iowa State Pigeon Association. For hobbies, he enjoyed fishing, camping, raising pigeons and listening to old country music.

Left to cherish William's memory are Bill Adams Jr. of Lake Mills, Iowa; Dave and Sheri Meints of Belmond, Iowa; Tim and Denise Walter of Adel, Iowa; Don and Patti Munson of Forest City, Iowa; Steve and Diana Arhart of Humboldt, Iowa; Maralee Munson of Anoka, Minnesota; 15 grandchildren; four great grandchildren and sister, Pat Langenbau of Mora, Minnesota. He has been preceded in death by his mother, Leona Kutz; his wife, and two children.
