LITTLE FALLS, MN -- Norbert Mathis Junglen, 82, Little Falls, died Sunday, May 2, 1999, at St. Benedicts Center in St. Cloud. He was born March 9, 1917, in Frazee to Casper and Mary (Prem) Junglen. He graduated from Cathedral High School in St. Cloud. He worked for Nash Finch Co. He was in the Army. He returned to St. Cloud and went to bakers school. He married Delphine L. Hohmann on June 8, 1943. In 1950, they moved to Clarion, Iowa, where he worked with his brother-in-law in the bakery business. He later owned and operated several gas service stations in Clarion. In 1997, they moved to St. Cloud and in 1998 they moved to Little Falls. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls and was a 4th Degree Knight.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mary Uhlhorn and Susan Junglen, both of Little Falls; two grandchildren; a brother, Marcell "Marc" , of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; and five sisters, Dorothy Froyen, Clarion, Iowa, Eleanor Schoenecker, Cold Spring, Margaret St. Aubin, Minneapolis, Donna Eickhoff, St. Cloud, and Bernyce Johnson, Austin. Four brothers, Charles Junglen, William Junglen, Bernard Junglen and Albert Junglen, and four sisters, Clothilda Schoener, Elizabeth Monrean, Irene Sweet and Clothilda Elizabeth (an infant), died earlier.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls with the Rev. Nick Landsberger officiating. Burial will be in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery of Little Falls. Friends may call at Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls from 4-8 p.m. today, with a parish prayer service at 5 p.m., and Knights of Columbus service at 6:30 p.m., and Wednesday from 8-11 a.m.
