Elmer G. Lampert, 97, Pierz, MN died Friday, Oct. 22, 1999, at St. Mary's Villa, Pierz. He was born March 12, 1902, to Fredrick and Mary (Reider) Lampert in Clarion, Iowa. He grew up in Morris. He married Mathilda Brausen on April 6, 1940, in Buckman. He farmed and worked at Milaca Creamery for six years and Olson's Super Valu. He retired in 1971 and moved to Pierz. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Pierz; one son, Larry Lampert, Pierz; one daughter, Rita Drabant, Mora; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Vera, Oregon, Blanche, Minnesota, and Lila, Florida. One son, Leroy "Sonny"; two brothers, Gordon and Lloyd; and three sisters, Freda, Mae and Dorothy, died earlier.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Pierz, with Father Ken Brenny officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the Brenny Funeral Home, Pierz. Christian Mothers prayers will be 4:30 p.m. and parish prayers at 8 p.m. Friends also may call from 9 a.m. until time of services Monday at the funeral home. Arrangements are with Brenny Funeral Home, Pierz.
