Eagle Grove – Margaret I. Darland

Margaret, a life long resident of Eagle Grove, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2010, at the age of 95 years, at Rotary Ann Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Erwin Darland and three sons: James, Gary and infant son, Everett.

Margaret was born September 12, 1914 to Jacob K. and Belle (Johnson) Baker. Margaret is survived by four children: Barbara (Bud) Crose, Alice (Kent) Ekstrom, Charles Darland and Allen (Rose) Darland; daughter-in-law, Linda Darland; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
