SHIRLEY GIBBS BEYER -- Shirley J. Beyer, 80, of Fort Dodge, died Oct. 13, 2007, at Trinity Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2007, at Gunderson Funeral Chapel. Interment will be held in North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

Shirley Jean Grebner, the daughter of William and Mildred Grebner, was born on June 2, 1927 in Badger. She is survived by her husband Virgil Beyer, her sons Robert "Bob" Gibbs, and Harold "Harry" (Faye) Gibbs, and three step-children Elaine (Danny) Fritz, Larry Beyer, Linda Miller, all of Fort Dodge, her sister Nadine (Duane) Hockel of Humboldt, her brother Vern (Jeananne) Grebner of Renwick, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren and many children that called her mom and grandma. She was preceded in death by her first husband Jack Gibbs, her sons Charles and Tim Gibbs, her grandson Loren Fritz, her parents and her brother Dick Grebner.
