IOWA FALLS—Bessie F. Mulford, 95, of Iowa Falls, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2006, at the Ellsworth Municipal Hospital, Iowa Falls. Private family services are being planned. The Linn’s Funeral Homes Iowa Falls Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Bessie F. Classon, was born on February 9, 1911 at Ellsworth, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence and Ida (Olson) Classon. She graduated from the Popejoy High School with the class of 1929. On December 12, 1933, she was united in marriage to David Dickenson at Alden. To this union three children were born, Richard, Bernella and Judy. They were later divorced. On September 15, 1960, she was united in marriage to Milo Bernard Mulford at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. Bessie was employed as a receiving clerk for the J.C. Penney Company, Iowa Falls, for 20 years, retiring in 1976.

Bessie Mulford is survived by her children, Richard C. Dickenson and wife, Janeice of Annapolis, Maryland, Bernella Meyer and husband, Loren of Apple Valley, Minnesota and Judy Duffy and husband, Randall of Iowa Falls; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ralph Classon of Alden. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Ida Classon; her husband, Milo Mulford in 1973; and one brother, Curtis Classon.
