Funeral services for Elaine Grace Schroeder, 84, of Hampton, Iowa, will be held on Monday at 10:30 A.M at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-3 P.M.at the Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton. Burial will take place at the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Latimer, Iowa. Rev. Karl Bollhagen & Rev. Thomas Graves will be officiating the service.

Elaine Grace Schroeder, 84, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away December 4, 2009, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton in Hampton, Iowa. She was born June 11, 1925, in Hampton, Iowa, to Carl Gottlieb and Alma (Olson) Weber. Elaine attended the Dows High School. She married Marvin G. Schroeder on May 19, 1956, in Waterloo, Iowa. Prior to her marriage, Elaine worked as an office manager of Metropolitan Life Insurance in Waterloo, Iowa. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton, Iowa. Elaine was an active farm wife for many years helping on the farm. She also enjoyed gardening, canning, baking and sewing. Elaine was devoted to her husband and family. She is survived by her husband Marvin G. Schroeder of Hampton, daughter Paula K. Graves of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, daughter Laurie A. Dinkel of Tell City, Indiana, sister DeElda Frodin of Gray Hawk, Kentucky, sister Berneice Peterson of Waterloo, sister LaVonn Rastetter of Iowa Falls, brother Earl Weber of Dows, sister Marie Meyer of Iowa Falls and five grandchildren. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Seth.
