Funeral services were held at the First Christian Reformed Church here at 10:30 A.M., June 10 for Louis Klein, 78, of Sioux Center, who died at the local hospital June 6 after a long illness. Services were conducted by the Rev. Peter Y. De Jong and burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Klein was born March 28, 1896, at Meservey and came to Sioux County as a youth. He married Johanna Lammers November 19, 1917, at Sioux Center. The couple farmed near Sioux Center until their retirement. Survivors include the widow, a son, Charles, of Maurice; two daughters, Mrs. Gerrit (Alla) Kraayenbrink, and Miss Mina Klein, both of Sioux Center; four brothers, Neal of Grand Rapids, Mich., Arthur and John, both of Sioux Center, and Marion of Maurice; a sister, Mrs. Dena Ten Harmsel of Grand Rapids, Mich.; four grandchildren and a great grandchild.
