STRATFORD, Iowa - Rose Mary (McClain) Graves, age 80, formerly of Fort Dodge, died at the Stratford Care Center on Sunday, August 16, 2009. Rose and Rollan have lived at the Stratford Care Center for the past year. A memorial service for Rose Mary Graves will be held in the chapel of the Stratford Nursing and Rehab Center on Tuesday, August 25 at 2:00 p.m.

Rose Mary was born on February 20, 1929, daughter of William (Bill) and Dessie McClain of Hardy Iowa. On May 28, 1948 she married Rollan Keith Graves. They celebrated and enjoyed over 61 years together. Rose has now gone home to be with the Lord and waits for "Bud".

Rose is survived by her husband, Rollan ("Bud") Graves and their 10 children: Jimmie Graves, Susan (Jim) Berreth, Vicky (Joe) Baldridge, Nancy Graves, Glenda, Tracy Lynn, Allan Graves, Terry Graves, Mary Lindstrom and Kelly (Marian) Graves, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, William Luther and Bobby Lee. Bruce-Graham Funeral Home of Fort Dodge has been entrusted with arrangements.
