Donald James Dean, 85, of Corwith, died Tuesday (Nov. 28, 1995) at the Kanawha Community Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church, Corwith, with the Rev. Jane I. Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Corwith Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. today at the church. Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home, Corwith, is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be given to the youth activities of the United Methodist Church, Corwith.

Donald James Dean was born Jan. 27, 1910, at Renwick. Survivors include his wife, Helen Dean of Corwith; a daughter, Judith Johnson, Arlington, Texas; three sisters, Ruth Kannenberg, Humboldt; Dorothy May, Kanawha, and Darlene Brown, Angola, Ind.; one brother, Edwin Dean, Clearwater, Fla.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one sister and one brother.
