HAMPTON, IA -- Tony Johnson, 34, died Wednesday (Sept. 27, 1995) at the University of Minnesota Hospital, Minneapolis. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at the Hampton United Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry McCann officiating. Burial will be in the Hampton Cemetery. Visitation was held from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home. Tony Johnson was born Dec. 9, 1960, in Webster City. Survivors include his wife, Kim Johnson of Hampton; two sons, Seth Johnson and Tyler Johnson, both of Hampton; his father, Ronald Johnson of Nora Springs; his mother, June Newgaard of Kanawha; his stepfather, Richard Newgaard of Kanawha; one sister, Kim Martinez of Kanawha; five brothers, Rory Johnson of Dows, Ronnie Johnson and Eric Johnson, both of Nora Springs, and Chris Newgaard and Rick Newgaard, both of Kanawha. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents.
